Red Hot 2011 Sailfish Bite! Team Miss Annie takes 2nd Place at the 2011 Jupiter Billfish Tournament!
Sailfish action in front of Palm Beach is red hot! Strong cold fronts bringing cold weather and north breeze have combined to light up the sailfish bite. The Miss Annie has caught and released over 300 sailfish so far this season. With three big days this past week, the crew on the Miss Annie released 62 sailfish in 3 days. Perfect conditions for the Jupiter Billfish Tournament in which the Miss Annie released 21 sails on day one and 18 sails on day two for a combined total of 39 sailfish releases. This was good for a 1st place daily on day 2 and 1st Place Live Bait Boat Overall and 2nd Place Overall in the tournament for a total combined purse of $44,000!
